Camping Serro da Bica
RIVER MIRA
Camping Serro da Bica is located on the river Mira. This is one of the cleanest rivers in Europe. A lot of guests are swimming in this wonderfull area. Many otters still live in the Mira and the river is full of fish. So bring your fishing equipment with you. In earlier times, the housewives from the area came to do their laundry where the camping site now connects to the river.
Ourique
Ourique is a place with about 6,000 inhabitants and is known for the Porco Preto, the black pig. A delicacy that appears on many menus. You can still see the black pig regularly in orchards. The sights in Ourique are the Castro da Cola, the ruins of Necrópole de Atalaia & Miradouro Ramiro Sobral. Ourique has a rich history.
